About the Role:
As a Part-Time Accountant, you'll work with multiple nonprofit clients, providing a range of accounting services. You'll have the opportunity to directly contribute to their success. This role involves both virtual and on-site client interaction. There's also potential for promotion to a Controller-level position!

Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll weekly and monthly.
Perform bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financials and related analyses.
Track and monitor grants.
Create and monitor cash flow projections.
Prepare for external audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 3 years of related experience in public accounting and/or industry; 5+ years preferred.
Outstanding communication skills and a positive attitude.
Knowledge of, or interest in learning, multiple accounting software packages; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
Intermediate-level Excel skills.
Willingness to travel to client offices as needed (when it is safe to do so).
Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required.
Availability to work during normal business hours to best serve our clients.

Compensation:
Starting hourly rate is $30 to $45 per hour. Total compensation may be higher with overtime and bonuses. A professional development reimbursement and technology stipend are also provided annually. The hourly rate offered may vary depending on relevant factors such as education, skill, experience, licensure and certifications, internal hourly rate ranges, geographical location, and other business needs.
