Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a short-term contract basis in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a variety of administrative tasks. The position has an expected duration of 2-6 weeks and offers a chance to contribute to organizational efficiency while working closely with a dynamic team. Responsibilities: - Manage daily administrative tasks, including organizing files and handling office correspondence. - Respond to incoming calls professionally and provide accurate information to callers. - Perform data entry tasks with precision to maintain organized and up-to-date records. - Oversee reception duties such as greeting visitors and directing them appropriately. - Distribute daily mail and ensure timely handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence. - Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create reports, maintain records, and process documentation. - Operate scanning equipment to digitize documents and ensure they are properly stored. - Support team members by assisting with additional tasks as needed to maintain smooth office operations. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative support or similar roles. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to create and edit documents efficiently. - Strong communication skills for managing telephone inquiries and interacting with visitors. - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management. - Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced office setting. - Familiarity with office equipment such as scanners and printers. - Previous experience handling mail and reception tasks is preferred.
