Job Description

Aoka is a third-party municipal services provider supporting federal, state, and local governments with code compliance, inspections, and consulting services. We specialize in delivering efficient solutions for building safety, housing standards, and regulatory compliance. Our proprietary software, VertexPlans, streamlines inspection services by integrating plan reviews, field inspections, and reporting into one seamless platform—ensuring faster turnaround times and improved communication for our clients.

We are currently looking for Building Inspectors in the Houston area to conduct inspections on sites and ensure projects meet all applicable building codes and standards

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in building inspections with current ICC certifications and TSBPE Plumbing Inspector License required in Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations; report discrepancies and potential issues.

  • Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare clear, timely reports based on observations and materials used or delivered.

Compensation and Benefits :

  • $60,000 – $90,000 yearly salary, depending on work experience and certifications held
