Primrose Bagel Co. is looking to hire a Front of House team member at our shop located in the up-and-coming Oakwood Village.

Who We Are:

A neighbourhood bagel shop in the up-and-coming Oakwood Village, Primrose Bagel serves up fresh baked bagels, cream cheeses, lox, and an assortment of sandwiches with an attention to quality ingredients.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work with us as a Front of House Team Member.

• Process in-store transactions, ensuring positive customer experience for each guest
• Describe menu items to guests and answer ingredient-related questions when asked
• Brew and serve coffee and tea to guests
• Package and hand off sandwich orders to guests, ensuring food that is served meets Primrose's standards
• Organize and package online preorders and live orders
• Assist with opening and closing of the shop
• Maintain cleanliness during service
• Label and date retail items
• Restock retail shelves and fridge
• Restock packaging shelves at the end of each day

Qualifications and Skills:

We are seeking a candidate with a positive can-do attitude who is looking to join a small close-knit team.

• 1+ year(s) experience in a customer service role (food and beverage an asset)
• Proficient in operating POS systems (familiarity with Square POS a plus)
• Good communication and multi-tasking skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and complete a number of tasks in a given time-frame
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Food Handlers certificate an asset
• Looking to grow in an expanding company

This is a full-time position with five shifts a week. Hours are from 8am to 4pm, the shop is open 9am-2:30pm. Weekend availability is required. Following a three-month probationary period employees gain access to their company benefits package.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
