Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Java - React Developer (Front End) to join our team and contribute to the modernization and enhancement of our applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on front-end development, with expertise in React, JavaScript, and integration with backend services using REST APIs and Spring Boot.

This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of remote and onsite presence at our Cleveland, OH office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, review, and optimize front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and jQuery .
• Design and implement efficient integration solutions with backend services (Spring Boot/REST APIs).
• Debug Java-based applications to connect the front end to APIs effectively.
• Develop and execute test scenarios to ensure the seamless performance of applications.
• Create reusable code and libraries to improve maintainability and efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with UX/UI designers to develop visually appealing and functional interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues across various devices and browsers.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging front-end technologies.

Technical Skills Required:

• Front-End Development: React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery
• Frontend Integration: REST API, Spring Boot
• Debugging: Strong Java debugging skills for frontend-backend connectivity
• Testing: Front-end test scenarios, unit testing
• Development Tools: Modern JavaScript frameworks, build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.)
• Version Control: Git, GitHub, or similar tools
• Software Development Methodologies: Agile, SDLC, DevOps practices
• UI/UX Collaboration: Understanding of UX/UI design principles
• Security Standards: Secure coding practices for frontend applications
• CI/CD & Deployment: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modernization of applications.
• Knowledge of secure coding standards and software testing methodologies .
• Strong ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams .
