We are seeking a Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to provide inpatient pediatric and newborn care at a community-based hospital in Roseburg, Oregon. This role includes 24-hour call coverage, rounding responsibilities, and management of pediatric and neonatal patients in multiple care settings.
Position Details
Shift: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Rounding: 8 hours of rounding included within the 24-hour shift
Weekend Coverage: Required as part of the schedule

Weekdays: 8.44
Weekends: 6.49

Responsibilities
Serve as the Attending Physician for inpatient pediatrics and ED pediatric consults
Round on inpatient pediatric patients and newborns in the Family Birth Center
Perform stabilization of critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients prior to transfer
Provide timely and accurate documentation in the medical record
Required Procedural Competencies
Lumbar puncture
Intubations
Umbilical line placement
Neonatal resuscitation
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Active Oregon medical license
Active DEA
