Salary: $110,200 - 110,200 per year Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology, including at least 5 years working with or for State Medicaid agencies or similar organizations, focusing on business initiatives through data analysis, business requirements writing, and system testing/validation.
• At least 2 years of experience with CMS Federal Reporting such as MARS, PERM, T-MSIS, or Quality of Care CMS Core Measures.
• Knowledge of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services reporting requirements and relevant programs.
• Understanding of claims processing, recipient eligibility, and provider enrollment data.
• Proven ability to conduct data analysis using SQL and Excel against large datasets from data warehouses.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles, team collaboration, and mentoring.
• Ability to travel to Springfield, IL, two to three times per year as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and support decision-making for the large Medicaid data warehouse implementation and operations by providing strategic recommendations.
• Utilize specialized knowledge of Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Programs (CHIP) to lead internal and external stakeholders on complex processes related to claims, eligibility, and provider enrollment.
• Identify state Medicaid agency data needs and recommend appropriate solutions backed by credible rationale and validated proof of concepts.
• Advise technical and business teams on healthcare topics to ensure appropriate use of healthcare data.
• Propose enhancements driven by Medicaid best practices, standards, and policies throughout project processes.
