Job Description:
The Laboratory for Healthy Social-Emotional Development is hiring a full-time Research Assistant I to begin in the summer of 2025 (PI: Dr. Alva Tang). The Research Assistant will work in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas ( UTD ) main campus in Richardson (bbs.utdallas.edu). The Research Assistant will have the opportunity to work on studies examining adolescents' processing of social information and social media content, and to oversee day-to-day activities in the lab.
Applicants interested in attending graduate school or pursuing a career focused on research in developmental psychology, neuroscience, or clinical psychology are encouraged to apply.
This position is initially funded for a minimum of one year, with the possibility of renewal. Continued employment is contingent upon the availability of funding.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in one of the basic sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or in daily interactions in a public services environment.
