Universal Atlantic Systems has been around over 50 years. We install, service and monitor over 8,000 businesses across the US and Canada. Customers include McDonald's, 5 Below, Panera Bread, Taco Bell to name a few and we also offer services to residential customers as well. From fire systems, intrusion, video surveillance and access control, UAS provides custom installation, quality service, dependable monitoring, on-time performance, and affordable pricing. We serve local, regional, multi-location and national accounts for a wide variety of clients including equipment rental dealers, asset-intensive outdoor facilities, food service providers, convenience stores and retailers throughout the US and Canada. We help them become safer, more secure, operationally superior, and more profitable. Previously family owned, UAS has joined the Zeus family to help them focus on business development and become even stronger in the market.

Role Overview

Responsible for building and growing new business as well as maintaining and cultivating existing client base nationally through verticals such as auto dealerships, agriculture, and storage solution providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect all vertical industries that may have assets.
  • Sell the UAS suite of services to those needing monitoring of assets.
  • Leverage customer and vertical connections to increase selling potential.
  • Meet weekly targets for businesses prospected, meetings set, and closed business.
  • Making cold calls and scheduling meetings with prospective clients.
  • Research prospective clients by spotting and uncovering data through lists, blogs, campaigns, articles, tweets, and other social media channels.
  • Produce a steady stream of leads utilizing email, phone, social media, and other channels (we are counting on your creativity).
  • Responsible for documenting efforts in the CRM database.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience as a Sales Assistant, Lead Generator or in Direct Sales, or equivalent experience
  • Must be resourceful and creative with a keen capacity to regularly identify new ways of reaching prospects
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools

Qualifications

Work Requirements:

  • Position may require overnight travel on occasion
  • Position is considered sedentary
  • Requires extended periods of PC exposure
