Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of senior application developers and test automation engineers for iOS, tvOS, Android, and web-based platforms.
• Mentor the junior developers
• Maintain positive employee and peer relationships and nurture professional growth.
• Ensure communication with other teams as well as to/from senior management and team members
• Remain current in the understanding of front-end application technologies and DevOps methodologies
• Communicate early and often, building a culture of trust and collaboration between engineers and teams across multiple offices, organizations, and timezone
• Facilitate in building the group’s technical strategy and roadmap – creating success metrics and prioritizing the team’s work in close collaboration with other engineering teams and product managers in multiple organizations.
• Partner closely with product and business teams and service provider teams to align roadmaps and design incentives for shared success.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Must have skills

• 12+ years of Design and Development experience
• 4+ years of experience in mobile app development using React Native
• Proficient in debugging and analysis of issues
• Hands-on experience in developing Native apps Android/IOS
• Hands on experience in React JS, Redux, React Native, React hooks
• Proficient in debugging and analysis
• Should have strong problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to write well-documented code and TDD based development  
• Experience in integrating native modules and third-party libraries
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio, Visual studio code and npm.
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Experience in working with version control system like GitHub/bitbucket
• Should be well versed and up to date on the latest trends in Javascript technologies
• Highly collaborative and  strong team player with a commitment to perfection.
• BE/BTech/ME/MTech

Good to have skills:

• Hands-on experience in developing multimedia/OTT streaming applications. 
• Experience with socket programming and networking in general. 
• Understanding of streaming protocols like HLS / MPEG-DASH.
