About the Role

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing provides leadership, direction, and management to the sales and marketing teams, ensuring exceptional customer service while driving market differentiation and competitive advantage. This role analyzes and improves sales effectiveness, refines business processes, and implements strategies that optimize costs and maximize results. The VP ensures the team operates efficiently and effectively by developing a structured sales methodology and overseeing the complete sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• A key aspect of this role is establishing and maintaining a strong network of relationships across the coatings, adhesives, and distribution sectors.
• The VP actively engages with customers, suppliers, distributors, and partners to identify opportunities for growth and long-term collaboration.
• This leader directs the company’s marketing efforts, identifying and developing new customer opportunities while expanding market share within existing accounts and selected verticals that align with the company’s core focus.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree is required, an MBA is highly preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience
• Prefer longevity in the following industries: lubricants, adhesives, coatings, and distribution products and applications

Required Skills

• Strong leadership, management, accountability, and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Proven track record in developing successful sales and marketing strategies
